The Meineke Residence is a single family home in Solana Beach. It was constructed to require very little heating or cooling by installing high-performance doors & windows, insulating it well, and making it airtight with breakthrough and revolutionary AeroBarrier technology.  We installed an Energy Recovery Ventilation system and filtering air to provide healthy indoor air quality. Water Heating is provided with an electric Heat Pump Water Heater.  Naturally, the home will be equipped with a Solar PV system to provide it with renewable energy.
